Karlsruhe, February 27, 2026 – stp.one, one of Germany’s leading LegalTech providers, today announced the successful completion of its acquisition by Septeo, one of France’s leading vertical software publishers. The transaction marks a significant milestone in stp.one’s corporate history and was first publicly announced on November 3, 2025.
The acquisition brings stp.one a major step closer to its goal of becoming the European market leader in LegalTech. In addition to stp.one’s strong position in the DACH region as well as Northern, Central, and Eastern Europe, Septeo adds a powerful presence in France, the Iberian Peninsula, and the Benelux countries. As a result, the Septeo Group now serves lawyers and legal professionals across numerous highly regulated European markets through a single, robust platform.
Following the transaction, Septeo’s annual revenue now exceeds €560 million. The group employs 3,600 people internationally, nearly one-third of whom are dedicated to research and development.
